Extreme Heat is heading our WAY!!!!

As we enter our "summer season" our maintenance team may or may not be out in the afternoon hand watering greens, tees and fairways. This practice is simply to add a light watering "syringing" method to the top of our grass canopy that will help keep all surfaces cooler during the high sun periods. Our crew is trained to wave all play through as they are performing the task if needed.

With the heat, we are also starting to see some smaller "mushroom" items of top of our tees. This is an effect of having a soil bourn fungi that is prevalent during the summer months. Truly no concern from a maintenance stand point and we will be applying applications to help eliminate the look.

Thank you for helping keep the course in great shape, we look forward to seeing all of you out enjoying the remaining summer months. Keep cool and hydrated during your round.

Sincerely,

Craig and Maintenance Staff
